Who is JHowe?

My name is John Howe, and I’m a 23-year-old Videographer and Photographer based in the heart of Maine. I specialize in capturing the raw beauty of nature and the personal stories of those I work with as I help to bring visions to life through a lens that’s grounded in authenticity and adventure.

Living off the beaten path isn’t just a lifestyle for me, it’s where I feel most inspired. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me waist-deep in a river fly fishing, tying my own flies at camp, or exploring backroads with my golden retriever by my side. Whether it’s road-tripping through mountain passes or hitting the trails on my bike, these moments outdoors fuel the creative perspective I bring to every project.

  • I Graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Media Communications and minoring in Film Studies. In 2024, I was a part of a team who won 3rd place in the BEA Student Short Form Documentary. Along with my content creation, I’m an avid fly fisherman and outdoorsman.
